Guidelines
- Organizers must sign a third-party fundraising agreement and return it to Diabetes Hope Foundation.
- The event will be promoted in a manner to avoid statement or appearance of Diabetes Hope Foundation endorsing any product, film, organization, individual, or service.
- Diabetes Hope Foundation will provide a logo and a written statement that indicates Diabetes Hope Foundation is a recipient of a portion of the proceeds from the event.
- All promotional materials must clearly state that Diabetes Hope Foundation will be receiving a portion of the proceeds from the event.
- Diabetes Hope Foundation must approve all promotional materials, including but not limited to advertising, letters, brochures, flyers, and press releases prior to production and distribution.
- Event organizers are responsible for obtaining all permits associated with the event, especially those for raffles and/or games of chance.
- Events organizers are responsible for following poster policies for their institution/city. If there are any questions about this guideline, organizers are required to contact Diabetes Hope Foundation.
- Event organizers must obtain their own liability insurance to cover the event.
- Diabetes Hope Foundation is not financially liable for the promotion and/or staging of third-party events.
