Alumni Committee
The Alumni Committee is primarily responsible for keeping all of the Alumni connected through various social events and activities. These can include small socials like bowling or larger events like the upcoming Alumni Leadership & Development Day. Each member of the Committee will play an integral role in the planning, development, and implementation of these events.

Alumni Committee Chair - Jay Gilbert, Received Scholarship in 2004
Hi my name is Jay Gilbert and I received my scholarship in 2004. I graduated from Western University with an MBA. My goal as Alumni Committee Chair is to increase engagement for our alumni family through our programs and other initiatives.
Activities - Kristin Herriott, Received Scholarship in 2009
Hi my name is Kristin Herriott, I am 21 years old and I received the Carly Armel & Family Fund in 2009. I was born and raised in Toronto, and currently live in Richmond Hill, Ontario and my positions on the Alumni Committee are the Activities Executive Team Member and the GTA Community Energizer Support Team Member.
Logistics - Izabela Smolik, Received Scholarship in 2010
Hello my name is Izabela Smolik and I am your Logistics Executive Team Member. I am 20 years old and live in Toronto, Ontario where I am attending school at Ryerson University. I received the Jessica Paczek Memorial Scholarship in 2010.
Marketing and Promotions - Brigitte Lucey, Received Scholarship in 2010
I’m Brigitte Lucey and I am the Marketing and Promotions Executive. I received my CIBC scholarship in 2010. I am 19 years old and from Toronto, Ontario. I currently attend McGill University in Montreal where I am in my second year majoring in Urban Planning and minoring in World Cinema.
Mentorship - Katie Phillips, Received Scholarship in 2005
My name is Katie Phillips and I am looking forward to connecting with you as your Mentorship Executive! In 2005, I was awarded the DHF and CU Advertising Scholarship. I earned my BAH in Psychology and Environmental Science, and I have recently begun graduate studies in Education. My professional niche is student services for higher education; past roles have included undergraduate recruitment, admission, executive education and student advising.

My name is Melissa Pasqua, and I am the Community Energizer for the Kingston/Ottawa/Montreal region. I am 21 years old, and I am from and currently live in Ottawa. I received my 2-year Bayer HealthCare Scholarship in 2008.
Regional Energizer, British Columbia - Michelle Stirling, Received Scholarship in 2008
Hi, I'm Michelle Stirling, the West Coast Community Energizer. I am twenty-one years old, and from Cloverdale British Columbia. I was the 2008 BC recipient of the Tracey Rubinoff scholarship, and am very excited to working with members of our community in BC in the near future.
